WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the organising committee, it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the 'University Obstetrics & Gynaecology Congress (UOGC) 2012' hosted by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore to celebrate the 90th anniversary of its inception. With the theme as "90 Years of Service, Education and Innovation", this milestone event will encompass the latest advances in OBGYN with state-of-the-art, plenary and key-note addresses by world-renowned pioneers in the field.

With due importance to the growing concerns of fertility and women's health, the congress program will cater to the needs of the next generation obstetricians and gynaecologists through teaching CME work shops and didactic interactive sessions. Undoubtedly, this 3-day scientific extravaganza in Singapore will ensure a contemporary exchange of ideas within the confines of a vibrant and cosmopolitan setting. It will be a satiating experience for the entire OBGYN fraternity including experts in feto-maternal medicine, infertility, andrology, oncology and urogynaecology and also for the providers of health care services and technologies. Newer translational research to be presented in podium and poster sessions is bound to initiate spirited and enlightening discussions.
